The Balsa Surf Camp located in the paradise of Montañita, is an oasis of good energy. We are a group of friends working together and offering our services in a very professional way but always with a human side. We are a family that respects nature, a small community that works giving each other a hand to grow.

Our hotel with its great location offers an excellent alternative to enjoy this program. Our neighborhood “La Punta” has the best surf spot in Ecuador, with waves for all levels depending on the tide and the most pleasant water temperature, 1 minute by foot. The Balsa Surf Camp is more than an accommodation, it is a special, magical place, where you live a unique and real experience, sharing… Where we feel happy and welcomed!
1) Basic Spanish & Surf Program
By learning with our professional surf certified coaches, your improvement will be rapid and effective. The surf lessons are practical and combine exercises that will help you gain confidence to surf and improve your level.
The lead instructor will evaluate your progress and help you improve your technique using the photographs and videos taken during the practices.
The learning is complete, from how to make a board to the point where you gain the confidence to ride the wave and enjoy it.
