The vision of "LA ESCUELITA" is to offer you a different learning experience, we have the experience and education to teach languages, but we also put our heart into what we do.

Our teaching approach is different that the rest of the schools, we identify your learning goals and create a customized Spanish learning program. Therefore, each student will achieve their desired level, we are not a large business, we are a family and friends working together. For us, it is not about the profits, it is more about your experience and the satisfaction that we get once our clients are happily speaking Spanish.

We are located inside of Balsa Surf Camp and here, we work as a community as well, where we support each other to achieve our goals as a family, we invite you to be part of our family!

We are 1 minute away from the beach, you can get up in the morning and have a delicious breakfast in our indoor restaurant. Do yoga or go surfing and after a beautiful shower in your room, you can have your Spanish lessons! Or you do it the other way around, class first, it doesn't matter! Our surf camp has all that you need!

Gabriela Estrella: Founder/ creator / dreamer and teacher!

I have been a Spanish teacher for more than 15 years… I start teaching as a hobby, but I felt in love with this profession! I love sharing my culture, teaching my language and learning technics. But I also felt in love with all the experiences that I got from my students.

I have a strong background and education in administration, I have been working closely with community projects and my personal growth for the past years. I have worked as a Spanish teacher, manager, marketing coordinator and trainer in different schools in Quito, Montañita, Olón and Switzerland (where I got my administration and tourism master's degree)

Travelling and languages are my passion, so I am always looking for new ways to learn a new language and also technics to teach it! So come Learn Spanish in Ecuador.

For me, education is the key to the future, and that is why we integrate our programs to help the community. I am proudly part of foundations and associations that help people to get a better future, so I am happy to include this part in my own project!
